Volunteer as a Merit Badge Counselor

Merit badge counselors play an important role at LDS Camp. Your experience, knowledge, and dedication will leave a lasting impression on many young men.

You do not need to be an expert in your field to teach a merit badge. If you can work with boys aged 12–17, and have specific skills or experiences related to the subject material, you can be a counselor.

Merit badges will be taught Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29, 2018. Counselors may volunteer to teach mornings, afternoons, or both. Some badges are also taught during evenings. Some badges may require the full five days to complete, and some require only one or two days.

Food and accommodations are provided. Counselors who live close enough to camp may spend each night at home, but most counselors will choose to spend each night at camp with their troop.
